Brighton’s Big Screen
The summer 2016 programme is bigger and better than ever before showing live football coverage, plus over 30 classic and recent box office hits on a large 40sqm screen.

Behind the scenes tour of The Keep Archives at the University of Sussex
Enjoy a wonderful behind-the-scenes tour of The Keep, including the stores where the documents are housed and the conservation studio. The Keep is a world-class centre for archives with records dating back over 900 years.

Brunswick Town Art Fair
Now in its fifth year, the fair features local artists exhibiting paintings, prints, photographs, cards, ceramics, sculpture and jewellery. All the high quality, but affordable, work is for sale.

March of the Mermaids
This annual seafront parade celebrates seas and sea life. March of the Mermaids is not just for mermaids. Mermen, sea mammals, crustaceans, pirates, sailors and all forms of sea life are invited to take part.

Pride Brighton & Hove
This popular annual event celebrates equality and diversity. 290,000 people from Brighton, the UK and around the world are expected to come together to celebrate with fun events and a parade in the city.
When: 5-7 August
Firle Vintage Fair
This vintage-style celebration offers an excellent atmosphere, a swinging line up of well-known Vintage style Jazz bands, Charleston dance show and vintage ballroom dancing. A great selection of food and drink will also be on offer.

Brighton Thai Festival 2016
This two-day event gives you the opportunity to experience the taste of Thailand. Bring along your families and friends to challenge your taste buds and taste great food you've never tried before.
When: 20-21 August, 10 am to 7pm
The Brighton & Hove Food and Drink Festival
This year's festival will feature producers and restaurants from Brighton and surrounding Sussex, alongside guest stalls from Sicily, the Netherlands, Sweden and the Channel Islands. The event is a must-do for anyone who loves great food and drink.
