Studying in the UK is a new experience, but living with other students is the best way to experience student life. You’ll be able to make new friends from around the world, supporting each other through student life and enjoying everything the city of Brighton has to offer.
University-managed accommodation is located on-campus and off-campus, in the residential areas of Brighton and Hove. It is allocated based on availability. If you secure University-managed accommodation, all associated fees will be payable to the university.
A variety of rooms are available on campus, in nine modern student residences: Brighthelm, Lewes Court, East Slope, Stanmer Court, Swanborough and Northfield.
*Please note that costs are subject to change.
^Please note these are the accommodation costs for the 2020/21 academic year.
If you are starting in September, there is currently plenty of availability. If you are required to quarantine (as per UK government guidelines), your accommodation will be available for you to do so. We will support you so that you have everything you need to settle in to your new home, including bedding packs, shopping deliveries and take-away services.
Once it is confirmed that you can return to on-campus learning, and if you have requested accommodation, the Central Student Support team will contact you with the latest information on available accommodation and fees.
If you require support in sourcing accommodation, please contact our University of Sussex ISC Central Student Support team at SussexISC.CSS@Studygroup.com to enquire about our currently available accommodation options
