We’re excited to announce that the University of Sussex International Study Centre (ISC) has moved to its new, modern home on campus in the Friston Building. The main entrance to the new ISC is located in Car Park 1, off Science Park Road.
With an attractive backdrop of green fields and rolling hills, the new building provides an outstanding learning environment where ambitious and creative individuals like you can reach their full potential. Facilities at the ISC include cutting-edge learning spaces, break-out areas, a common room and staff offices.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vaughan Leyshon, Centre Director, Sussex ISC, said: “The new home for the International Study Centre gives us the opportunity to provide an even better experience for our international students. The state of the art facilities provide the best possible teaching and learning environment and allow us to make maximum use of technology. I am delighted with our new premises and confident that our students will benefit hugely from the investment in the new facilities.”
Mike Everett, Study Group Chief Operating Officer, UK and Europe, said: "We are delighted to have an excellent new facility for our longest standing International Study Centre. Having signed a new contract for the next ten years, we look forward to having a successful relationship with the University of Sussex for many more years to come."
Clare Mackie, University of Sussex Pro Vice Chancellor, added: "Social mobility of our students on campus is really important, and an international dimension is the core to our 2017-18 strategic plan. We are delighted to be able to open this new facility, which we think reflects Study Group's professional standing and the work they do at the University."
