Times Higher Education reveals the most international universities

The University of Sussex has been ranked among the world’s top 25 most international universities and top 10 in the UK.

Using data from the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2019, the publication compiled scores from international students and international staff as well as noting international co-authors for research journals and international reputation.

The University of Sussex is joint 22nd globally and top 10 in the UK, demonstrating its international outlook and global reputation.

On campus, the international atmosphere is evident with more than 3,163 international students representing more than 140 different countries.

International partnerships are another important focus for the University, enabling high-quality research and opportunities for Sussex students abroad. By working with these universities – currently more than 160 institutions worldwide – Sussex is able to attract some of the best staff and students.
